- Consul General of the Republic of Austria for Western Missouri and Kansas. I am an American citizen who was appointed to the honorary position of Consul by the Chancellor and the Foreign Minister of Austria in 1986. My duties include representing Austria in this region, fostering U.S.-Austrian trade and tourism, assisting Americans who wish to travel in Austria, and serving Austrian citizens visiting or living in this area. My appointment was approved by the United States Department of State. I was promoted to the rank of Honorary Consul General in 1993.
